FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: thermostat is used for chemical resistance tests of various materials using the method of comparison with control sample, which means the compliance of test conditions of all tested samples, including control sample. In the casing filled with heat-insulating material there arranged is thermostatically controlled hollow metal cylinder with blind chambers uniformly located along middle line of its circumference, heater located on external surface of hollow metal cylinder in the body of which temperature sensor connected to thermoregulator the output of which is connected to heater is arranged. Inside hollow metal cylinder there coaxially arranged is the second hollow metal cylinder equipped with a disc located on its face and being its continued part and arranged between upper face of the first hollow metal cylinder and casing of thermostat; at that, heater is located on external surface of the second metal cylinder, and temperature sensor connected to input of the second thermoregulator the output of which is connected to heater located on external surface of the second hollow metal cylinder is located in body of the second hollow metal cylinder or on its internal surface.
EFFECT: shortening the time required for mode activation and decrease of temperature gradient at location point of the tested sample.
