FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: alternating-to-constant voltage converter with ratio of high voltage to amplitude of low voltage pulses, which is equal to N, where N - even number which is higher than two, includes 5-N+8 switches formed with opposite parallel connection of valve with complete control and diode, and N accumulating capacitors used at the same voltage polarity. Structure of the above AC-DC converter includes two types of key modules - CM and EM, and accumulating capacitors. Central modules (CM) consist of two pairs of in-series connected switches each, between the connection points of which the third switch is connected. Each of the end modules (EM) consists of four switches connected in series and in pairs by means of opposite outputs. CM modules are step-by-step connected to each other, and one EM end module is also connected at the beginning and at the end of that cascade, and output terminals of converter, which are located symmetrically relative to left and right parts of converter, are connected to the middle of that cascade. N capacitors are connected one-by-one between connection points of adjacent central CM modules to each other and to end modules. The second terminals of each end module are connected to each other and two obtained terminals form converter inputs to which there parallel connected is filter capacitor and input alternating voltage source.
EFFECT: improved mass and dimensions parameters, enlarged functional capabilities of controlling output voltage with high input power coefficient.
