FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: down-step DC converter relates to the electrotechnics (for power electronics) and can be used as a high-voltage dc-dc converter of medium power for DC electrical systems, for example, to DC electric voltage 3 (1.5) kV for power supply from the contact with high voltage (12 (6) kV, 18 (9) kV etc). DC voltage converter is composed of K converting cells, and the input of a smoothing filter, the filter formed by adding the reactor and the condenser. One cell contains two fully-controllable keys with anti-parallel diode, two resonant LC-links. Converting cells are cascaded so that the two outputs of the previous cell are connected to two inputs of the next cell. Two decoupling diodes and two transistors at the output of the inverter need to limit the impact of the work on each others circuit load.
EFFECT: proposed modified DC buck converter, in comparison with the prior art, contains twice fewer cells.
