FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hot-rolled strips with one-side corrugation and without it at four-high hot-rolling mill. Proposed method comprises heating of slabs, multi-pass roughing and finishing at continuous train of mill stands into preset-thickness strip with regulated distribution of reductions over said train. Two working rolls are mounted at penultimate stand of aforesaid train, one of them being provided with grooves. Strips with corrugation are rolled at penultimate stand of finishing train with relative reduction of 15-30%. Note here that end stand is put out of operation with distribution of reduction among preceding stands of continuous train while at rolling strips without corrugation at end finishing stand of continuous train corrugation does not exceed 20% whereat end stand is put out of operation with distribution of reduction among other stands of continuous train.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality.
