FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of composite materials, namely, glass-metal micro balls to be used in engineering, biotechnology, electronics and jewelry. Proposed method comprises making rods, their plasma spraying and entrapping formed glass-metal balls. Note here that rods are used consisting of metal wire coated with paste based on minced glass and binding agent. Plasma spraying is carried out at plasma generator output of 9 kW and rate of electrode feed into plasma torch of 8-12 mm/s.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and power intensity.
