FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: in the method to produce rods intended for production of microballs they use glass tubes with diameter of 2-4 mm, one end of which is sealed with paraffin, a mixture of glass powder and power of at least two metals. Then the second end is soldered, and treated with a plasma torch at temperature of 7000-9000 K.
EFFECT: increased quality of rods, reduced labour intensiveness of manufacturing, possibility to use two and more metals.
