SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packing appliances. Band clap comprises buckle 10 with through opening for band 6 and opening 22 made in buckle outer surface to receive male die. Band arranged inside said buckle has deformation, visual indicator and curved section. Deformation is made in bans, nearby said opening 22, to prevent relative displacement of band and buckle. Visual indicator is made in band, at least partially around deformation. Said band curved section engages with said buckle edge to prevent relative displacement of band and buckle. Method of locking buckle in band comprises arranging buckle thereon, deforming it to produce visual indication, bending part of band off said buckle and cutting band off. Deformation is produced by male die provided with shaft with far and near ends and two parts with decreased diameters.
EFFECT: higher strength of band clamping.
