FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has an input optical connector, a device for splitting light according to wavelength and output optical channels. The input optical connector is connected to an intermediate optical bundle consisting of optical cables in form of a cylinder at the input and a vertical line at the output of the bundle. The light splitter is in form of a concave diffraction grating. On the chord of the Rowland circle of the diffraction grating there is a receiving unit in form of an array of several groups of light guides. Each group of light guides is connected to separate outputs of the optic connectors of the receiving unit.
EFFECT: wider range of used photodetectors, eliminating dependence of the photodetector installation place on the location of the optical signal splitting unit, complete elimination of gaps and overlapping neighbouring channels for splitting according to wavelength, wider dynamic range of the pyrometer.
