FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: property of ferromagnetic material of an article in a magnetised state to change local values of magnetic flux density depending on change in form of loading is employed. The margin of safety of the article is determined from the relationship between the standardised (standard for the given object) value of change in magnetic flux density for characteristic cross sectional points of the investigated article and the working value of that quantity for the given form of loaded state of the investigated object.

EFFECT: possibility of obtaining and storing information on the dynamic state of an article in each operating moment, at any point over the period of operation, for the entire investigated period of operation.
