FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: sensor network terminal contains power supply element, sensor network transceiving module connected to one of external sensor network nodes, wireless communication module connected to mobile terminal, two transmitted data protocols conversion units connected to transceiving module of sensor network and to wireless communication module. Protocol conversion modules consist of incapsulation unit connected with memory unit and fragmentation unit which is connected with memory unit and frame coding protocol conversion unit which is connected with memory unit and defragmentation unit which is connected with memory unit, as well as decapsulation unit connected with defragmentation unit and memory unit. And method for providing interaction between mobile terminals and sensor network which describes operation of this device.

EFFECT: possibility for mobile terminal when sensor network node through which data were transmitted has failed to continue communication with sensor network through other node, and possibility of sensor network terminal to be moved provided it remains accessible for communication with mobile terminal and with at least one sensor network node.
