FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises estimation of laser welding conditions for exploiting estimation results for welding conditions variation to ensure high welding rate. Laser beam acts from outside surface to lengthwise edges, points of laser effects are tracked from inside of open pipe. Laser welding conditions are estimated and are not changed in case there is through penetration from outside to inside of open pipe. In case there is no through penetration welding conditions are changed to ensure it.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
