FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the large diameter carbon steel of 530 to 1,420 mm with wall thickness of 8 to 45 mm molded tube billet butt joint laser-arc welding with consumable electrode in an atmosphere of shielding gas. Electric arc welding is performed with the three-phase arc. Using the welding torches with consumable electrode. Connecting the first and second arc torches electrodes and the welded pipe to the three-phase power supply source corresponding phase. Focusing the laser beam in the welded surface edges area. Setting the distance between the laser radiation focused spot center and the first arc torch electrode arc contact point from 10–15 mm. Setting the second arc torch arc contact point at a distance from the first burner arc contact point, providing the common welding bath formation with the first burner and the laser beam. Tilting the laser beam in the direction opposite to the welded surface edges movement direction by an angle of 20–25° relative to the welded edges normal line. Tilting the arc burners electrodes in the welded surface edges movement direction by an angle of 30–35° relative to the welded edges normal line. Supplying the shielding gas into the laser radiation zone and into the electrode zones.
EFFECT: technical result consists in welding defects reduction such as through holes, pockets, pores and slag inclusions due to the welding bath degassing conditions improvement.
