FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for welding spun tubular billets of carbon steel with a diameter of 530 to 1,420 mm with a wall thickness of 8 to 45 mm. Near-weld zone of the welded section is heated by an inductor before and after welding to a temperature of 200–350 °C. Hybrid welding is carried out. Laser beam is focused on the welded edges of the tube billet after the arc welding torch. Distance between the center of the focused spot of the laser beam and the point of arc contact of the welding torch is 10–15 mm. Laser beam is inclined towards the direction of movement of the welded edges by an angle of 20–25° relative to the normal to the surface of the welded edges, and the welding arc torch is tilted in the opposite direction by an angle of 30–35°. During the welding process, a protective gas is supplied to the burner electrode zone. Reheating temperature is maintained until the seam temperature of the above-mentioned temperature of the weld zone is reached.
EFFECT: method provides a controlled crystallization of the welded metal by reducing the weld pool and performing heat treatment of the welded seam, improvement of the degassing of the weld pool, which minimizes the risk of formation of crystallization cracks and pores.
