FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises teeming the melt into chill mould cavity, breaking the chill mould down, mould tube cast machining, turning seal grooves on tube cast, removing the bottom, heating said cast and removing inner case. Forming cavity is formed by outer case, inner case and chill mould bottom, and features shape to match that of mould tube. Melt is teemed via gate runner bottom channels. Machining of mould tube cast is made together with inner case and bottom.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
