SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to endocrinology and nephrology, and concerns treating nephroangiopathy combined with experimental alloxan diabetes. Modelling of diabetes is ensured by single intraperitoneal introduction of 5% aqueous solution of alloxan in a dose 15 mg per kg of an animal's weight. Two weeks later L-carnitine is injected subcutaneously in a dose 25 mg per 100 g of an animal's weight daily once a day during 4 weeks.
EFFECT: method provides effective treatment of nephroangiopathy in specific experimental conditions due to lower lipid peroxidation in cell membranes of kidney vessels and improved renal blood flow.
