FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: user equipment UE (110) sends a request for activation of PDP-context with an impermissible APN to SGSN (120). Having detected the impermissible APN, SGSN creates a request for activation of PDP-context in direction towards GGSN (130) and inserts APN as default. GGSN detects the default APN and sends a request message to account usage of RADIUS resources in a system of device management DMS (140). DMS initiates a configuration flow to manage the device in direction towards UE using IP along the existing PDP-context or a unidirectional SMS channel, and responds with a reply message on accounting of RADIUS resources use in GGSN. When the reply message on accounting of RADIUS resources usage has been accepted, GGSN initiates a reply with successful creation of PDP-context in direction towards SGSN, resulting in a reply with successful activation of PDP-context in direction towards UE.

EFFECT: invention provides for the possibility to automatically detect devices without GPRS configuration or improperly configured GPRS devices to send new GPRS configurations into a device.
