FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grain-processing industry and may be used in lines for processing grain-products (preferably-buckwheat grains). The method involves purification from adventitious and grain impurities, capture of ferric impurities, steaming during 3…5 minutes under steam pressure equal to 0.25...0.3 0 MPa, thermal and moisture tempering during 30 minutes, grains drying and cooling. After thermal and moisture tempering before drying one performs preliminary heating of the grains in a heating chamber with a gas distribution grid till temperature is equal to 40…42°C and the grain layer aeration at an air rate of 6…8 m/s in a vibrofluidised bed with the gas distribution grid vibration frequency equal to 7…10 Hz and oscillation amplitude equal to 3…7 mm during reduction of the grains moisture content from 21…23% to 15…17%. The grains drying is performed till moisture content is equal to 12…14% at a temperature of 95…100°C with superheated steam in a boiling 120…130°C layer at a movement rate of 0.6…0.8 m/s. After preliminary grains heating exhaust air is first delivered into the cyclone for purification from suspended solid particles contained therein, then it is dried till moisture content is equal to 0.005…0.007 kg/kg in the two-sectional evaporator of the heat pump installation where the operating and standby sections alternatively operate in the condensing and regenerating modes. After the evaporator operating section dried air is supplied for cooling dried grains, then it is heated in the condenser of the heat pump installation till the temperature is equal to 75…77°C and supplied for preliminary heating of grains to form a closed cycle; one uses a steam generator with electric heating elements and safety valves for saturated steam production. One part of steam is superheated in the steam superheater till the temperature is equal to 120…130°C and supplied for grains drying while the other one is supplied for regeneration of the surface of the evaporator standby section cooling element. Generated condensate is drained into the condensate receptacle, then the condensate is supplied into the steam generator in the closed cycle mode while 105…110°C exhaust superheated air is supplied for grains steaming after drying.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to enhance buckwheat grains treatment quality.
