METHOD OF ELIMINATING DEFECT OF ALVEOLAR PROCESS OF JAW Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B17/24 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery, and is intended for elimination of defects of alveolar processes of jaws. Size of defect of alveolar process of jaw is evaluated and intra-operation stereolithographic models are made. During autotransplant sampling skin is cut on line of access in lower third of hip on projection line of femoral artery. Vascular bundle is exposed. Lines of osteotomy are drawn on anteromedial surface of lower third of femoral bone diaphysis in accordance with intra-operation model with the following dimensions: 2-12 cm long, 1.5-4 cm wide, 0.5-2 cm thick. Ligation of vascular bundle in proximal part is performed. Flap is cut off. Receiving bed is prepared. Mucous-periosteal flaps are mobilised from vestibular and lingual surface of alveolar process. Cortical plate of receiving bed of alveolar process of lower jaw is perforated. Facial artery and vein are exposed in submandibular area. Bone transplant is adapted and fixed in the area of defect by means of microscrews. Anastomoses with recipient vessels are applied. Mucous-periosteal flaps are additionally mobilised above fixed transplant and sewn with U-shaped interrupted sutures.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to eliminate vast defect of alveolar process of lower jaw without including additional volume of soft tissues and create conditions for further dental implantation due to sampling of donor autotransplant having its own feeding independent on blood supply of receiving bed.
