FIELD: medicine, maxillofacial surgery.
SUBSTANCE: muco-periosteal flap is mobilized and the defect is closed using a revascularized autograft followed by its fixation. In this case, cortico-periosto-fascial is used as an autograft flap taken from the bones of the cranial vault on the vascular pedicle. The vascular pedicle includes the parietal branch of the superficial temporal artery (STA) and the superficial temporal vein (SVT). The obtained flap is revascularized by applying an anastomosis between the parietal branch of the PVA and the facial artery, between the superficial temporal vein and the facial vein.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the functional and aesthetic effect in the elimination of limited jaw defects of any localization, to minimize donor damage, pain syndrome and preserve the sensitivity of the donor area.
