SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space technology, namely to shields for space vehicle protection against high-speed meteoroid impact action. The shield contains cellular structure made of metal grid. The shield is made assembled of cells each one of which represents regular polygon and is made of two layers of metal grid squeezed along perimetre by flat-topped metal strips. In one of metal grid layers, pins are made bosses of which contact with other layer. Cells are cross-linked by metal wire.

EFFECT: saving in weight of protective shield.
