FIELD: cosmonautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for protection of inhabited space objects from impact action of space medium particles. Protective device comprises three screens – shockproof, calibration and splinterproof. Between the shockproof and calibration screens there is a heat exchanger-evaporator, and between the calibration and splinterproof screens there is a first heat accumulator with a high melting point of the substance. Heat exchanger-evaporator, as well as the first and second heat accumulators contain packages of substance modules laid in layers in the form of rectangular one-dimensional parallelepipeds placed in perforated shells. Each of the above layers is closed at the ends with plate casings. External unit of the device consists of a perforated sheet and said screens, attached in parallel to each other together with plate casings of layers, posts installed in fixing brackets located on outer surface of pressure shell of inhabited space objects. Between the splinterproof screen and the perforated sheet there is a second heat accumulator with a low melting point of the substance. In the gap formed by the external unit of the device, on the side of the perforated sheet and the external surface of the pressure shell of the inhabited object, there is a heat-insulating gasket. Opposite the external unit of the device on the side of the internal surface of the pressure shell of the inhabited object there is an internal unit of the device, which is made in the form of wafer-shaped cells filled with modules of rectangular shape of one-dimensional parallelepipeds from self-healing viscous-flowing polymer material. Said material is placed in support shells of the same polymer filled with fibres, hermetically closed by inner surface of pressure shell of inhabited object and plate of internal unit.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of protection of pressure shell of inhabited object.
