FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves the following stages: hot rolling of slab workpiece, primary cold rolling, degreasing of strip, moderate decarburising annealing so that the strip is heated up to 800°C or more in shielding environment with PH2O/PH2, which is equal to 0.50-0.88 during 3-8 minutes in order to reduce the carbon content of steel plate to the level of less than 30 ppm; after that, shot blasting and acid etching in order to remove Fe oxide from the surface and to control the oxygen content to the value which is lower than 500 ppm, secondary cold rolling to final thickness and coating of the strip with separating device in the form of water suspension, drying-out to reduce water content to value which is lower than 1.5%, high-temperature annealing in shielding atmosphere containing hydrogen having oxidability (PH2O/PH2); in the range of 0.0001-0.2, application of tension coating and annealing for tension correction.
EFFECT: obtaining grain-oriented strip steel with high electromagnetic characteristics and superior quality of the surface.
