FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: Coriolis-type mass flow meter has a housing in form of a section of an assembled pipeline, an inlet connector connected to the housing, two straight flow tubes which split the stream into two equal streams, an outlet connector through which the stream comes out of the flow tube into the pipeline, and a vibration exciter lying at the centre of the flow tubes, a generator whose output is connected to the vibration exciter, two touch-sensitive receivers lying at equal distances from the exciter. The two straight flow tubes are mechanically clamped on both ends to form a mechanical oscillating system which lies axially symmetric in the housing. The Coriolis-type mass flow meter is fitted with a transfer function calculating unit whose outputs are connected to outputs of the exciter and the touch-sensitive receivers, and a standard function approximating unit connected to the output of the transfer function calculating unit. The generator used is a broadband signal generator and the output of the standard function approximating unit is connected to the control input of the broadband signal generator.
EFFECT: stable measurement accuracy regardless of possible deviation of parameters of the oscillating system from initial values.
