FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: flowmeter that comprises a sensor unit and a measuring electronics is proposed. The flowmeter comprises two or more flow tubes, an exciter connected to the flow tubes which is oriented to excite oscillations of the forced mode in the flow tubes. Two or more strain gauges are connected to two flow tubes and are oriented to detect the oscillation phase of the forced mode. One or more bridge circuits are electrically connected to two or more strain gauges. The bridge circuits are configured to produce a signal indicative of the flow asymmetry between the two flow tubes.

EFFECT: possibility to determine the asymmetric flow.
