SUBSTANCE: in a period up to three posttraumatic days, blood serum is examined for the lactic acid concentration and creatinphosphokinase activity; it is followed by calculating the relation of creatinphosphokinase activity to the lactic acid concentration, and if said relation is 87 and less, the absence of severe injures of skeletal muscles within the fracture is stated, and if the calculated relation is more than 87, the presence of severe injures of skeletal muscles within the fracture is stated.
EFFECT: method enables estimating additionally a degree of early posttraumatic involvement of skeletal muscles; simplicity and availability.
