METHOD OF AUTOTRANSPLANTATION OF PARATHYROID GLANDS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B17/00

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to surgery, oncology, and can be applied in autotransplantation of parathyroid glands. At the first stage 2-3 hours before operation alasens is introduced perorally in dose 20-30 mg/kg of body weight. At the second stage access to thyroid gland and visualisation of parathyroid glands are realised due to accumulated in them alasens. At the third stage thin-needle biopsy and urgent cytochemical test are performed in order to confirm that it was tissue of parathyroid glands that was identified. At the fourth stage autotransplant, which containsentire visualised by means of alasens parathyroid gland, part of thyroid gland capsule, upper or lower thyroid artery and upper or lower thyroid vein, is formed. Formed autotransplant is transferred into axillary fossa, where preliminarily by 5 cm long cut of skin and separation of subcutaneous-fatty cellular tissue access of thoracodorsal artery and vein is realised. Anastomosis of end-to-end or end-to-side type between upper or lower thyroid artery and suitable in size branch of thoracodorsal artery is formed. The same principle is used in anastomosis of upper or lower thyroid vein with suitable in size branch of thoracodorsal vein. Run of blood flow is started. Operation wounds are sutured.

EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to realise transplant engraftment and ensure its functioning in the same volume as before removal.
