FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Z-shaped cut on posterior surface of elbow joint is performed. Cut is started 3.5 cm above medial epicondyle of humerus in projection of medial intermuscular septum and continued in distal direction to medial epicondyle, 0.5 cm before reaching it turn by 95-100° to lateral epicondyle is made. Cut is continued above lateral epicondyle, where it is directed at angle 95-100° in distal direction and is finished 2 cm more distally that lateral epicondyle outwards from ulnar process. Two formed full-layered skin flaps are separated and brought aside. Tendon of triceps brachii is mobilised and brought aside medially by cutting medial and lateral intermuscular septa of lower third of shoulder.
EFFECT: method ensures prevention of contractures in elbow joint, minimal trauma of anatomical structures in area of distal part of humerus, possibility of free instrumental impact and complete visual control of structures in area of elbow joint, creation of favourable conditions for further healing of operation wound.
