FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: there performed is a mechanical synthesis of powdered mixture that contains titanium, titanium carbide, carbon and powder of at least one high-melting compound from the group: mechanical synthesis of hafnium diboride, tantalum diboride, niobium diboride, molybdenum diboride and pressed. The blank is roasted at 1300-1450°C for 1-2 hours obtaining semi-finished product. Semi-finished product is milled in the mill at semi-finished product and milling elements ratio 1:7.5, mill barrel rotation frequency 240-260 rpm for 5-20 minutes and further sieving.
EFFECT: method allows extending the range of powdered compositions for plasma coatings and decrease energy consumption for their obtaining.
