FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of functional composite cermet materials, particularly, materials based of titanium silicocarbide and titanium porous-fibrous component, and may be used in aircraft engineering, machine building, chemical industry and power engineering. Proposed method comprises making intermediate sintered layer of titanium powder on the surface of composite material based on titanium silicocarbide by slip technology. Then, titanium porous-fibrous component is bonded with sintered titanium powder layer with the help of solder. Note here that titanium powder with particle size smaller than 160 mcm is used for making the slip while slip layer thickness makes 200-500 mcm.
EFFECT: higher heat resistance, toughness and noise absorption.
