FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method includes electroplating of stannum-indium alloy in electrolyte containing stannum sulfate, sulphuric acid and preparation OC-20, at the same time indium content in the alloy makes 0.5 - 56.0 wt %, and indium sulfate, formalin (37% solution), butindiol-1,4 (35% solution) at the following ratio of components, g/l: stannum sulfate (in terms of metal) 2-15, indium sulfate (in terms of metal) 2-30, sulfuric acid 90-100, preparation OC-20 1-2, formalin (37% solution) 5-7 ml/l, butindiol (35% solution) 10-15 ml/l, and electroplating is carried out at the temperature of 15-30°C, cathode density of current 0.5-7 A/dm2 with current yield of 37-98%.
EFFECT: development of sulfate electrolyte for electroplating of stannum-indium alloy, making it possible to produce shining even coatings in wide range of current working densities.
