FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: turbine flow metre contains rotor with multiple blades mounted across the fluid flow and control unit for continuous registration of pulse signals at time moments Ti generated for each full rotation of the rotor and calculation of fluid flowing through flow metre. Note that the control unit can measure time intervals ΔTi=(Ti-Ti-1) coming between sequential pulse signals for definition of flow rate FRi related to each of the specified intervals ΔTi=(Ti-Ti-1) on the basis of experimental calibration non-linear analytical function that correlates the change of flow rate of pre-selected fluid with the change of time interval between sequential pulse signals of turbine flow metre and with the possibility of calculating discreet quantity of fluid Vi=Ti×FRi flowing during each of the said time intervals ΔTi=(Ti-Ti-1) between sequential signals to define total quantity of fluid Vt=ΣiVi flowing through flow metre.
EFFECT: possibility to determine actual flow rate of the fluid in non-linear conditions and define the quantity of fluid flowing through the flow metre that should be calculated with higher accuracy than at allowance of turbine flow metre operation at linear conditions.
