FIELD: ventilation.

SUBSTANCE: air cooling of heat exchangers to maintain the required cooled medium temperature is performed due to the change in air flow rate by switching ON/OFF some fans. The cooled medium temperature is maintained at the required level by controlling the ambient air flow; in addition, temperature of cooled medium is measured continuously in outlet header of multi-section cooling plant, as well as there measured for each section of heat exchangers at actuated fan motor is electrical power consumed by it from the network, inlet and outlet temperature of the section, and effectiveness measures of the section operation are calculated. In case the cooled medium temperature on the outlet header deviates below allowed one, fan of heat exchanger section, the effectiveness of which is the lowest one, is deactivated, and in case the temperature deviates above allowed one, fan of heat exchanger section with maximum effectiveness measure is activated.

EFFECT: increasing energy efficiency of operation of air cooling devices.
