SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps for: reception of a delete request by the computer; prohibiting a set of strategies for nominal fault detection by the computer; launching a strategy for detecting the corresponding fault through the delete request using a model stored in the computer, simulated ambient conditions characterising initial fault detection conditions; analysing the result of launching the detection strategy for: prohibiting the delete request if the fault was detected once more, or acknowledging the delete request if the fault was not detected once more, and deleting the fault code in the computer memory.
EFFECT: shorter time for fault recovery in a computer by launching a strategy for detecting the corresponding fault through a delete request.
