FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: light source has one or more light-emitting elements, one or more photodetectors and a photodetector light-guide, e.g. a planar light-guide. The photodetector light-guide is configured to capture and direct a certain portion of light emitted from one or more light-emitting elements to one or more photodetectors optically connected to it, wherein light detected by the photodetectors is used as the basic parameter for controlling corresponding output radiation of one or more light-emitting elements.
EFFECT: possibility of ensuring a given colour level of output radiation.
