FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: lighting device (1) is disclosed comprising a light guide assembly (2) comprising embedded light-diffusing and/or light reflecting particles (5) and at least one light input surface (3) configured to input light into the light-guide assembly (2), and at least one light emitting element (6) located in such a way that at least some amount of light emitted from it is introduced into the light guide block (2) through the mentioned light input surface (3). The light guide assembly (2) comprises a heat transfer means adapted to transfer heat generated by the operation of at least one light emitting element (6) away from at least one light emitting element (6). The heat transfer means is arranged in a such way that at least the spot of the housing of the light guide unit (2) has an absolute thermal resistance equal to or less than 20 K/W.
EFFECT: minimizing the effect of heat generated by the operation of the light-emitting element on the construction of the lighting device.
