FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of minerals by flotation and may be used in extraction of titanium dioxide, silicon dioxide and vanadium dioxide fron titanium-bearing and water-bearing ores. Proposed method comprises producing flotation concentrate using flotation reagent and extracting mineral therefrom. Liquid or dry alkaline metal lignosulphonate is used as flotation reagent to be added to concentrate in amount of 0.05-1.7 kg per ton of ore crushed to, at least, 0.2 mm. Prior to flotation, mix is stirred for, at least, 5 minutes while obtained flotation concentrate is analysed for availability and content of minerals by relationship: where M1 is mineral weight in comparison solution, mg; Mt is weight of test portion, mg; V is total volume of analysed solution, Val - volume of aliquote, cm3; F is graduation factor.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
