FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: dual-circuit cooling system for the engine of a gas-piston electric unit is proposed. The internal circuit is configured to cool the engine and contains an internal circuit water pump connected to the internal circuit pressure gauge; the external circuit is configured to cool the charge air, the coolant of the internal circuit and the oil of the engine lubrication system and contains a receiving valve, an external circuit water pump connected to the external circuit check valve, a charge air cooler, an oil-to-water cooler, a water-to-water cooler, a temperature controller, configured to separate the flows and, depending on the temperature of the coolant of the internal circuit, redirect part of the flow of the coolant through the external cooling circuit to the pump of the internal cooling circuit. Circulation of the coolant of the internal circuit is provided by the water pump of the internal circuit through the line supplying the coolant to the engine through separate nozzles. The coolant of the external circuit is supplied by the water pump of the external circuit through the intake valve, taking water from the water supply source and directing it through the check valve to the charge air cooler, through the water-oil cooler it enters the water-to-water cooler, from which it returns to the water supply source.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of gas-piston electrical units with a dual-circuit engine cooling system.
