FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: test-bed nozzle for control of high pressure fuel pumps includes housing with spring, adjusting screw, rod and coupling nut due to which needle housing, fixed by pin, and shut-off needle are connected in succession. Nozzle is provided with shell with fuel channel in it rotating inside coupling nut provided with radial gauged orifices with nominal diameters 0,4; 0,5; 0,6; 0,8; 0,9 mm located in a circumferential direction in equal intervals. Shell with fuel channel is fixed in preset position coinciding with gauged orifice of required diameter by holder being a hollow screw in which cavity pressing spring with a ball is installed. Diameter of fuel channel in shell cavity is larger or equal to diameter of maximum gauged orifice on side surface of coupling nut.
EFFECT: extending range of control and stability of control and hydraulic properties of test-bed nozzle for control of high pressure fuel pumps.
