FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: automatic control device of liquid metal temperature in reaction capacity of electric arc furnace and change of thickness of refractory lining of electric arc furnace includes thermal imager with software signal processing unit of infrared radiation and not less than one block of their reception, not less than three heat-conducting pins -infrared radiation sensors. Some ends of pins are interconnected through infrared radiation flow with the thermal imager through unit(units) receiving infrared radiation. At that, the first pin-sensor is installed in a through hole in the housing and fire-resistant lining of electric arc furnace with possibility of interaction of the other end with the second liquid metal in reaction capacity of electric arc furnace; the other end of pin-sensor is installed in fire-resistant lining at the specified or fixed distance from liquid metal in reaction capacity of electric arc furnace, and the other end of the third pin-sensor is attached to housing of electric arc furnace.
EFFECT: improving measuring accuracy quick action.
