FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: real-time PCR with determination of the Lactobacillus spp. and Gardnerella vaginalis genomes number in the sample in a smear-scrape taken from vaginal mucosa, the lgL/G index is calculated, where lgx is the decimal logarithm of the numerical ratio of microorganisms genomes, L corresponds to the number of Lactobacillus spp. genomes, and G is the number of Gardnerella vaginalis genomes in the sample, and for index values greater than -0.5 vaginitis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the informative value of the laboratory examination of child girls with a violated biocenosis of the vaginal mucosa, to evaluate therapy effectiveness.
