FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: coaxial magnetoplasma accelerator is in form of a cylindrical titanium rod coaxially placed inside a solenoid and copper central electrode, and its end part is in form of a cone which is connected to one of the terminals of the power circuit of the accelerator. The power circuit is connected by a second terminal to the end of the solenoid, away from the central electrode. The second end of the solenoid is electrically connected to the beginning of the rod. The housing of the unit of the central electrode is made from magnetic material and overlaps the zone of fitting a fuse link. The length of the part which overlaps the zone of fitting the fuse link is equal to 40-50 mm, and its outer surface is cone-shaped.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a charge of titanium-based superhard powdered materials whose composition includes a binding plastic component made from copper.
