FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method for supporting the soil of mine workings includes the stage of defining the thickness of hardenable rock layer in the soil, then there drilled are the bores to the thickness of hardenable layer, heating elements are installed into the bores and there performed is the thermal treatment of the hardenable layer rocks. Note that thermal treatment allows forming reverse cargo-carrying crown in hardenable layer. Note that the crown thickness is considered equal to the depth of blow-up zone distribution in mining soil. If necessary, the bores are reinforced by anchors after thermal treatment.
EFFECT: increase of mine soil stability at their supporting at the areas of clay and clay-containing rocks subject to blow-up.
