FIELD: mining industry; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of fixing a rock mass, and can be used in the construction of a roadway. The fastening method includes the formation of a monolithic hardened layer. At the same time, a direct electric current is passed through the rock mass having the properties of electrical conductivity, so that an electric arc is formed at the rock mass boundary. The mass is heated with the formation of a molten rock by the action of the specified electric arc, the area of contact of the electric arc with the rock mass is moved, and a layer of the molten mass pool is formed along the perimeter of the working, during the natural cooling of which a monolithic hardened layer of the changed structure of the rock is formed in the form of a stone casting.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the production of fastening of mine workings, through the use of material representing the contour array of the working; improvement of the quality of working fastening; acceleration of fastening, due to the exclusion of the use of various materials delivered to the place of fastening of the mine working.
