FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus consists of a high-frequency generator, spatially superimposed transmitting and receiving antennae, a high-frequency signal receiver, a scanning device for recording coordinates of the probed surface and a data processing controller. The apparatus further includes an adder amplifier, a controlled voltage source and a gain-controlled amplifier. One of the two inputs of the adder amplifier is connected to the input of the receiver, and the other input is connected to a reference voltage source, having opposite polarity with the constant component of the receiver. The output of the adder amplifier is connected to the input of the gain-controlled amplifier and the output of the gain-controlled amplifier is connected to the input of the data processing controller.
EFFECT: high probing accuracy.
