SUBSTANCE: connection is established between the first P2P unit (61) in the first area of addresses of a P2P network (160) and the second P2P unit (62) in the second area of addresses of the P2P network (160). In the P2P network (160) transformation of a network address is detected, which prevents direct connection between the first P2P unit (61) and the second P2P unit (62). The third P2P unit of the P2P network (160) is identified as a P2P retransmitter unit (R). The P2P retransmitter unit (R) retransmits a connection between the first P2P unit (61) and the second P2P unit (62).
EFFECT: optimisation of connection establishment in a P2P network with transformation of a network address.
