SUBSTANCE: first channel is established to transfer a short paging message during the first time interval. The short paging message indicates that receiving terminals shall process the second channel, along which a full paging message is sent. The terminal monitors the full paging channel only after the short paging message has been received, besides, a set of wireless terminals assigned to the first time interval varies in time by application of a hashing function to a MOBILE ID identifier of the wireless terminal.
EFFECT: saving capacity of a battery in a wireless terminal due to lower consumption of power in a duty mode.
