SUBSTANCE: first channel is established to transfer a short paging message during the first time interval. The short paging message indicates that receiving terminals shall process the second channel, along which a full paging message is sent. The terminal monitors the full paging channel only after the short paging message has been received, besides, the first time interval is a part of a group of the first time intervals complying with the second time interval, forming a short paging period, starting earlier than the second time interval by a fixed period of time.
EFFECT: saving capacity of a battery in a wireless terminal due to lower consumption of power in a duty mode.
