FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: cultivator includes a drive shaft which is placed in a stationary bearing tube detachably connected with one end to the housing of benzo-motor, and the second - with the gear case. The cutting tool is attached to the gear output shaft. The gear is made multistage. The drive shaft is provided with the coupling, and made a composite of two axisymmetric shafts, top shaft located from the side of benzo-motor and the bottom shaft - from the side of the gear. The upper and lower shafts along the axis have a guaranteed gap between them. For a torque transmission both shafts are connected by two conical halfcouplings, one of which is provided with inner conical surface and the second - with the outer conical surface. One halfcoupling is mounted on the upper end of the lower shaft tightly. The second halfcoupling, mounted on the lower end of upper shaft with the possibility of axial displacement on the splined flattened surfaces of the shaft lower end, is rigidly installed in the hole of the inner ring of the first ball bearing. The outer ring of the ball bearing is fixed to the inner surface of the switching tube. The outer surface of the tube is set on sliding attachment relative to the inner surface of the support tube. To the outer wall of the switching tube the diametrically placed lever rods are rigidly attached. The rods are passed through diametrically located longitudinal grooves made in the wall of the support tube and have holes that contain traction leashes. The leashes are connected to the release lever on the handle of the cultivator control. Along the inner surface of the switching tube by the outer ring the second ball bearing is rigidly mounted. In the opening of the inner ring of the second ball bearing a drive shaft is placed mounted on the landing with a gap. From the side of the second bearing to the end of the switching tube with one end the cylindrical compression spring is attached. With the second end the spring is preloaded to the threaded ends of the screws protruding from the inner side of the support tube. The heads of all screws are fixed by rings of the shrink tube.

EFFECT: this implementation will ensure the energy-saving mode of the cultivator, durability of its operation during root pruning of weeds and loosening the soil, increase safety when moving the cultivator from one place to another without shutting down the benzo-motor.
