SUBSTANCE: unit to collect oil and oil products from a contaminated surface of swamps includes a walking swamp buggy. A swamp buggy comprises a body, joined with parallel installed pontoons, a mechanism of alternate displacement of pontoons, mechanisms to remove loads from cantilever ends of elements of telescopic units in their open condition, a mechanism to rotate a unit, an oil collecting drum, barriers - pontoon skis, barrier booms and a container to transport barrier booms and to accumulate collected oil. The body represents a chassis installed on central and side pontoons, where telescopic blocks are tightly inserted. The oil-collecting drum comprises a system of collected oil pumping. Barriers are suspended onto the oil-collecting drum. A work place of operators - fitters of barrier booms is installed on the swamp buggy chassis. The container is engaged to the stern part of the swamp buggy chassis and is flexibly connected with the system of collected oil pumping.
EFFECT: higher operational reliability of a swamp buggy and its usage to install boom barriers, to collect and to remove spilled oil in swamps of any type.
