FIELD: construction and repair of pipelines. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use at construction and soft water-logged grounds and drift sands. Said device (chamber) incorporates hollow housing with arch-shaped cutouts provided with built-up edges, turnable bottom made in form of truncated cylindrical container with elliptical end faces and arch-shaped cutouts with built-up edges and internal reinforcement elements of bottom turning device providing turning of bottom around pipe through 180^° with drive. Guides are installed in housing parallel to longitudinal axis of bottom. Reinforcement clamping bars placed inside housing. Turnable clamping bars furnished with flexible sealing members are hinge-mounted along splits with screw drives. Hinged clamping bars installed at angles follow radii of angular clearances. Flexible detachable sealing seat-shaped yokes with upper sealing members are fitted in built-up edges of housing cutouts. Lower sealing members are fitted in built-up edges of turnable bottom cutouts. EFFECT: enlarged range of repair facilities. 2 cl, 10 dwg
